Last time, three or four weeks ago, we went for lunch at Marcello’s (we've been there twice, and the first time we liked the pizzeria a lot) - we were definitely scammed!!! I ordered crab meat and scallops pasta that was that day special. The price was relatively expensive: about $13 vs. $9 average pasta prices there. There was no crab meat (the expensive ingredient) in the meal. Worse that that: they put crab meat imitation (Alaska pollak) instead. The imitation meat is disgusting when heated! We didn’t have time to argue about the issue, we just told our waitress about the lack of crab meat in pasta. She didn’t react at all!! I find it really disappointing, unprofessional and shameful. Be careful... |
