My group of 4 ordered the dinner for 4 which consisted of the following : Breaded pineapple chicken Basically an oversweetened Tim Hortons timbit with a small piece of chicken hidden inside. It was too sweet to eat and there was no taste of pineapple. Chicken Chow Mein This was the only dish we could consume without shaking our heads. It was still below average compared to the other Chinese restaurants I've tried. Sweet and sour Pork Spareribs The sauce was so thick and strong, they could have used any type of meat and we wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. 10% meat and 90% cartiledge and bone. Chicken Fried Rice The rice was so dry and flaky that we almost needed a spoon to eat it. Taste of MSG was stronger than that of chicken. Deep Fried Shrimp The shrimps composed around 30% of these round and bulky masses. The rest was starch but in some cases, it was all starch since the shrimp was missing ! It came with no sauce either ! So in summary, you may want to try something else if you're in the city and want some Chinese food. Like drive the extra 2hrs to Calgary and visit China Town. |
