Bistro 171 is located in downtown Aurora, 1 block south of Wellington street on Yonge. (formally “the trio restaurant”) our atmosphere is warm and inviting. We offer a comfortable and casual dining experience, with attentive and friendly service. Whether your visit is for a luncheon meeting, an after work drink at the bar, a succulent dinner or a place to begin the night, bistro 171 is ideal for any occasion. Our food is classic & simple cuisine, european influenced, hearty and flavourful! . Foodinc Reviews "Bistro 171 was recommended by a friend. I am glad we stopped in for dinner on a fairly busy Friday night. Appetizers were delicious. They prepared a platter of grilled shrimp, smoked salmon and crab cakes for two. Main course was as equally mouthwatering. Chicken risotto was perfect and the Tuscan chicken was cooked,to, I would say perfection. We passed on desert and just finished off with coffee. Ambiance was very pleasing, music that was playing, at a nice volume, was another surprise as it was R&B not the soft rock that you get in most places nowadays.
