The old powerhouse, now an elegant restaurant in the heart of olde towne stoney creek was originally an industrial building, providing electricity to the long vanished hamilton, grimsby, and beamsville electric railway. The powerhouse was in operation from 1894 until 1899. Established: in 1989, the building was restored, and opened making its debut as the old powerhouse restaurant. This dining establishment, contains its own special character and charm, inside are impressive collections of photographs, antiques and memorabilia. with the finest foods, the old power house now an elegant restaurant in the heart of old town stoney creek fine casual dining specializing in pasta, steak, and seafood.
