Avani Asian Indian Bistro, conveniently located in mississauga's heartland centre, offers modern progressive indian and asian cuisine in a warm, upscale, casual setting. The decor features a stunning rajah slate waterfall as the backdrop for its well stocked bar, a cozy fire place and a naan station where diners can watch indian flatbreads being made to order. Menu highlights include avani's signature salmon tikka, tandoori frenched rack of new zealand spring lamb, lobster masala, butter chicken, chili chicken and the highly addictive samosa rolls. The executive style lunch buffet, where selections are brought to your table and replenished as often as many times as you wish, is offered daily from 11:30 am - 3:00 pm in addition to our full a la carte menu. An extensive wine, cocktail, martini and scotch list is offered including rare wines and liquors. The beers available include imports such as india's king fisher and a selection of the best of ontario craft breweries. Catering and take-out is available. Reservations are recommended.
