Recommended in "Where to eat in Canada" and "The Lonely Planet" guides, Java Jack's serves this province's staples like fish, berries and wild game in non-traditional ways. Smoked Arctic Char with warm potato salad and Caribou sausage with partridgeberry/dijon drizzle are just a couple of examples from the menu. Foodinc Reviews "I love this place. I'm from the area originally but I crave quality food after a few days of saturated fat-laden home grub. The partridge berry muffins are laced with cocaine I'm convinced and the dark roast coffee is smooth. I even got hooked on listening to Matthew Hornell's "Have it All" album; truly, I did. This guy is going places! The waitress was a dream- very friendly with a shy sense of humour.
