The inn at the falls is very proud to introduce ian demuth as executive chef. Beginning in september of 2005, ian will be joining us as the newest member of our team. Ian was classically trained in french cuisine and began his career as the executive chef of the squamish valley golf & country club nestled among the blackcomb mountains in british columbia. Fulfilling his desire for more international flair and experience, ian traveled to northern australia as the chef of beachcombers restaurant. Following his jaunt ‘down under’, he traveled and worked extensively throughout bali, indonesia, chiang mai, thailand and several countries in southern africa. After attaining extensive knowledge in worldwide cuisine, ian has now returned to canada and has decided to settle in beautiful bracebridge. We are excited to see some creative new editions to both the fox & hounds and carriage room menus over the next few months and welcome all of our guests to come and experience what executive chef ian demuth has to offer.
