Erected by the Charette family in 1856, the historic stone cottage that Estiatorio La Porte Grecque calls home provides a most unique and captivating atmosphere in which to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine. The main dining room features a double-sided fireplace, original exposed stone walls, warm wood paneling, and five 6-foot high windows, which flood the space with natural light. The private upstairs dining room showcases a steep gable roof, whose ceiling reaches ashigh as twenty-two feet. The resulting spatial volume, combined with massive supporting oak beams and untouched stone facades, creates a light, airy and pleasant dining atmosphere. |
